About JMJ Construction

JMJ construction is made up of John, Mark and James Butcher. John the father and his twin sons.

John started his career in 1962 as an apprentice cabinet maker at a high quality furniture manufacturer in Saffron Walden. Using his carpentry skills he became involved in the construction industry in 1975.

Mark and Jim moved into construction in 1997.

JMJ was formed in late 2001 and our aspiration is to provide a 1st class service, striving to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.

Over time we have amassed a portfolio of works that shows the variety of projects that we have undertaken from new homes construction as both speculative builders and for clients, the creation of a vaulted ceiling showroom, luxury wet rooms and outdoor living areas.

The size of a job is immaterial to us. Enquiries for large or small, from basic works through to high end luxury all receive the same level of attention.

Advise is given freely. Our aim is to work with the customer to achieve their vision, with a willingness to discuss changes with them as the job develops. Our client's input is important to us to help us achieve our goals.

We are aware of the need to conserve energy and efforts are made to include as many energy efficient components into our works as is possible and to recycle building materials whenever we can.
